I look forward to working with you to increase parental involvement and school wide communication. Let me take a moment to update you on our current avenues of communication. First,our district uses the parent portal where you can access your child’s grades. If you have never used our parent portal,you must contact the secretary of the campus that your child attends to get your child’s password. Our new avenue of communication between teacher and parent is our new Edmodo feature,located on our district web site page. Edmodo is a private social platform built for education. This site will posts teacher’s comments regarding class assignments,upcoming tests and projects,and any other valuable information that the teacher of that subject area deems necessary. Please feel free to contact me or your child’s teacher to set up a parent conference if needed. Together,we can bridge the gap betweem school and home.
