Spurger students received an energetic start to their Friday thanks to a special show of Pirate spirit.
Early that morning, our Cheerleaders teamed up with members of the boys and girls basketball teams to welcome elementary students as they arrived on campus. Dozens of players participated, opening car doors, greeting students with smiles, and helping our youngest Pirates begin their day on a positive note.
After the morning drop-off, the Cheerleaders continued the celebration by hosting a Player’s Brunch for both basketball teams. Several players also joined a community lunch at the Spurger Fire Department, representing our district with pride and gratitude.
Events like these highlight the strong sense of unity and service that define our students. We are proud of their willingness to show up, give back, and make an impact on our campus and community.
