Students competed individually and as part of school teams, earning points toward overall school standings.

The UIL academic meet provided students with the opportunity to demonstrate classroom learning in a competitive setting while building confidence, sportsmanship, and academic excellence. Campuses across the district were active throughout the day as testing rooms, judging areas, and waiting stations buzzed with activity.

Spurger ISD staff, volunteers, and judges worked together to ensure the event ran smoothly and provided a positive experience for all participating schools. UIL academic competitions continue to play an important role in encouraging student achievement beyond athletics.
