Our Juniors and Seniors have been busy collaborating and competing in S.T.E.M tasks led by our science teachers. Their first mission was to create a roller coaster made of paper that must meet particular guidelines. Today, after weeks of engineering and testing, the students presented their roller coasters. Kris Locklear, Faith Norsworthy, and Alexis Drake won best overall for their coaster. Aspen Hicks, Lacey Chapman, and Tyler Callaway won best engineering, and Emely Munoz, Ashleigh Wood, and Maci LeJeune were the creators behind the fan favorite coaster. Great job Pirates!
