Our Spurger Pirate cross country teams take the win in Chester!
Our Varsity boys teams came home as the first place team this week in the Chester meet. Our JV boys team also brought home the gold as the first place team and our Junior High boys team tied for 2nd!
Spurger Cross Country competed in Chester on Wednesday and the Varsity Boys had all competitors in the top 10. Senior Jose’ Jimenez placed 2nd in the varsity race followed closely by Joshua Grissom in 3rd, Luis Jimenez in 4th, Landon Heim in 5th, and Colton Fredieu came in 9th place. For the JV race, Logan Alvis took 1st place followed by Ryder Callaway in 3rd and Gage Gray in 9th place. JH Boys also had a 1st place finish by Zech Grissom followed by Dawson Heim in 14th. Running for Varsity girls, Searra Clark had a 3rd place finish. Great Job Cross Country and good luck at your Woodville Meet this Saturday.
