Our Varsity Pirates will take on the West Sabine Tigers this Friday (2/11/22) at the Martin Gym. We will be celebrating our seniors before the game at 5 pm.


Adlee had a perfect score on both her reading and math assessments!


Gabriel knows all of his multiplication facts 1 through 12 on paper in under 2 minutes!


Cole recognizes and knows all of his uppercase and lowercase letters!


We have more students getting added to the Bookworms Club! They have over 100 AR Points. Congrats!


Mrs. Robinson is our next BOAT member! This week is National School Counseling Week so we want to thank her for being the BEST counselor!


Spurger ISD will have a delayed start at 10:00am tomorrow, February 4, 2022. This will allow us time to evaluate the impact of the freezing weather on the roads. Buses will run 2 hours later than usual and breakfast will not be served.

Dear Parent/Guardian,
In keeping with Spurger ISD’s practices to respond to COVID-19, we are notifying all student families that a student member who was lab-confirmed to have COVID-19 was present on the elementary campus on 2/2/2022. You are receiving this notice, because you or your child was present on the campus in the two days prior to the onset of the individual’s diagnosis of COVID-19. Due to privacy requirements, we will not be releasing the name of the individual or details that may identify him or her.
Any of the following symptoms indicate a possible COVID-19 infection:
Temperature of 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or higher when taken by mouth;
Sore throat;
New uncontrolled cough that causes difficulty breathing (or, for students with a
chronic allergic/asthmatic cough, a change in their cough from baseline);
Diarrhea, vomiting, or abdominal pain; or
New onset of severe headache, especially with a fever.
If you or any member of the elementary school community does begin experiencing any of these symptoms in a way that is not typical, we encourage you to contact your physician. We encourage anyone in the elementary school community who is lab-confirmed to have COVID19 to please notify our school by contacting (409) 429-3464.

Students had a great time with their 100 days of school activities. They got to count cereal, make treat bags with 100 food items inside, and even lick a tootsie pop 100 times to see if they could reach the middle.
