5th & 6th grade teachers really understood the assignment! 😂🎉
They dressed up as piñatas and threw candy to the students — and yes, it was just as wild and fun as it sounds! The kids were laughing, cheering, and loving every second of it.
Moments like these are what make school memories so special. Huge shoutout to our teachers for going all out and bringing the fun! 🍬💛

We are proud of these two outstanding students from Spurger ISD’s Patient Care Technician (PCT) program! 💙
They recently had the opportunity to shadow nurses with Hospice Care Team, where they gained valuable, real-world experience and saw firsthand the compassion and dedication it takes to care for patients and their families.
Opportunities like this are so important in preparing students for future careers in healthcare, and these students represented Spurger ISD so well. 👏👩⚕️✨Special thanks to Hospice Care Team for supporting the future of healthcare.

Mrs. Huddleston’s 4th grade class had a sweet time learning about moon phases today! 🌙✨
Students used Oreo cookies to model each phase of the moon, getting hands-on while exploring how the moon changes throughout the month. From new moon to full moon, learning has never been so delicious!
Way to go, 4th grade, for making science fun and engaging! 🍪🚀

🥚📚 Our 4th graders had an “egg-citing” time preparing for the STAAR test with a fun egg hunt review activity! Students searched high and low for eggs filled with questions and challenges to help sharpen their skills and boost their confidence.
Creative activities like this make learning engaging and meaningful—and the students did an amazing job!
Wishing all students taking the STAAR test today the very best of luck—you’ve got this! 💙✨

What a fun couple of weeks in Pre-K and Kindergarten!
Our little learners have been busy growing veggies with our AeroGarden systems. 🪴Big thanks to Scotts Miracle-Gro and the Texas Agriculture Department for making it possible!
We love watching our students learn and grow right alongside their plants 🥕

Center time = BEST time!
Our kindergartners were busy little learners today sorting letters like pros, rhyming up a storm, and putting stories in perfect order! Watching their brains grow while they laugh, play, and explore is the sweetest part of the day.

Last week our amazing 3rd Graders learned all about Earth Day. They didn't just talk and write about taking care of our planet.. they put it into action by picking up trash around the playground! Little hands can make a BIG difference! #EarthDay

🎉 Congratulations to Calix in 4th grade for reaching 100% on Reflex! We’re proud of your hard work—keep it up! 👏📚
