Mrs. Williams’ 5th and 6th grade classes celebrated the season with a Fall Writing Contest! Students showed off their creativity by writing original fall-themed stories, which were proudly displayed in the hallway for everyone to enjoy.
Staff members voted anonymously for their favorites.
🏅 5th Grade Winners (Tie!) – Jase & Ellie
🏅 6th Grade Winner – Claira
Congratulations to our talented writers, and great job to everyone who participated! 🍂✨

Please make sure to pack your child’s lunch with items that do not need to be heated. Microwaves will not be available during this time. Thank you for helping us make this special day run smoothly.

We will hold our Veterans Day Program that day during school, and would love for our students to show their support by wearing red, white, and blue or a military-themed shirt.
Thank you for helping us teach our students the importance of honoring our veterans and showing our appreciation for their service.

Say cheese! 🧀 Picture Day is coming up on Wednesday, November 5. Be sure to come to school looking your best and ready to smile!

Our staff had a spooktacular time playing Pumpkin in Your Pocket on Halloween! 👻
Throughout the day, a few staff members secretly carried a tiny pumpkin in their pocket (or kept it cleverly hidden 👀). The fun twist? Anyone could ask, “Do you have a pumpkin in your pocket?” — and if they guessed right, the pumpkin had to be handed over! 🎃😄
A big shoutout to our amazing counselor, Mrs. Van Dorn, for coming up with this fun and festive game! 💛
Congratulations to our final pumpkin holders — Mrs. Hatten, Mrs. Sumner, and Mrs. Tiffany! 🏆
What a great way to spread laughter and Halloween spirit through our school! 🧡

🎃 First Grade had the spookiest sweet time on Halloween! After reading Spookley the Square Pumpkin, our students made their very own square pumpkin food crafts using graham crackers, orange vanilla frosting, candy eyes, black licorice smiles, and green licorice stems — and they turned out adorable! 🧡
A big thank you to Mrs. Hannah Tolar for bringing the perfect treat to go with our pumpkin fun — delicious orange soda floats served in jack-o’-lantern cups! 🥤👻 Such a fun and festive way to celebrate fall and reading! 📚✨
