
Spurger ISD has completed a deep cleaning procedure at both the elementary and high school campuses. All areas have been thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to help slow down the spread of flu and strep throat we have seen throughout the community recently. We are excited and ready to resume our regular school schedule on Monday. See y'all tomorrow morning

Some our seniors traveled to SFA to attend Living Like a Lumberjack Day!


Leewood, Kayleb, and MadiLynn received a Praise a Pirate for staying on task to complete their work.


Vincent is 100% fluent on all addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division facts on XtraMath and Reflex! He received a math t-shirt!


Thanks to the School Action Fund Grant and Mrs. Cain, new desks and chairs were purchased for grades Pk-4. Students are loving them!



Grant and Kinsleigh received a Praise a Pirate for taking their time on their worksheet and amazing coloring!


Forensics students learned about DNA testing in Mrs. Green's class!




2nd grade is using their beautiful new whiteboard desks for spelling sorts!


4th grade is learning about the Tribes of Texas.


3rd graders had fun conducting the jumping bean science experiment for Halloween!


If your student is bringing or has brought 3 canned food items to donate and you would like to go to the game with them, tickets are available upon request for $5 for the family. Please call CJ Turner at 409-880-1745 for tickets in advance. Canned Food Drive will end on November 7th.


Pre-k celebrated with popcorn and a movie in their socks for earning 10 pirate coins in the owl jar for classroom positive compliments.

Elementary Halloween 2023



The Elementary Fundraiser is due on Friday, November 3rd. Please have all calendars and money turned in before the end of the day.


These beautiful ladies will represent the senior class for this year's homecoming! Sidda Davis, Sara Shepherd, and Maddie Drake (front row) are the senior duchesses. Faith Callaway, Reigan Shook, KayLynn Deckert, and Abby Stephens (back row) will be vying for the title of homecoming queen.


Tomorrow is Halloween!! Students are allowed to wear their costumes. Please remember that masks, weapons, swords, fake blood, or any other props are not allowed. Costumes must be in dress code and kid friendly.
