Adlee entered the baking contest at the Tyler County Fair. She won Reserve Grand Champion for her pie and cake! Way to go Adlee!

Our Government students had to make a mock Presidential Cabinet. They had to name 2 classmates , 3 deceased people , 5 celebrities ( local or worldwide) , and 5 fictional characters to be Secretary of each cabinet! Tyler Callaway gave his presentation today and 2 local celebrities were in his cabinet!



It's BICYCLE GIVEAWAY DAY at Spurger Elementary! Grades Pre-K through 1st was entered into the drawing. Congratulations to our lucky winner, Miss Kimber! A special thanks to Mr. Dallas Hatton and Mr. Travis Weaver from Farm Bureau for donating the bicycle!

The National Guard made a special delivery of testing kits and other PPE supplies. Spurger ISD Health Services has the ability to test students and faculty for COVID-19. Parental consent is required. Thank you National Guard for helping to keep our community healthy!

We are so thankful for our partnership with Deep East Texas College and Career Academy! Mrs. Stapert along with other area Dual Credit Proctors were able to meet with colleges to learn more about helping our students be successful with their Dual Credit Classes!
