Congratulations to our Perfect Attendance winners for the first semester of school! Their names were drawn during our Christmas program today. There were three scooters awarded and one arcade game. Way to go kiddos and have fun!! 😊


Merry Christmas!! Students entertained their loved ones during the annual Christmas program today. It was a day filled with parties, gift exchanges, and memories. We are thankful for our students and visitors and wish you all a Merry Christmas. 😊





Santa, where are your reindeer? Have you read my letters? Santa and his friends greeted students, as they arrived in the car line today. Santa then made a special trip down the hall to visit with boys and girls. 😊





Santa came to visit Spurger ISD today.


Game on!!! Students who participated in our recent fundraiser were rewarded for their hard work today. They enjoyed a DJ Dance Party, followed with time in the Game Truck for top sellers. Way to go kiddos!😊





PreK sure knows how to have a sweet time! They decorated Christmas trees in class yesterday before they enjoyed their sweet treat. They were counting down the days until Christmas, so that meant 8 days left and eight ornaments on the tree. 😊




Nom! Nom! Nom! A Christmas Elf brought cookies, for the students in Mrs. Lieby and Mrs. Saulsbury’s Kindergarten classes, to decorate and enjoy. The elf also brought the book, Cookiesaurus Christmas. 😊





Kevin!!!!! Elementary wore their ugly sweaters today, while the staff participated in an ugly sweater contest. The grand prize winner was Mrs. Smith with her very creative Home Alone design.😊





Ho! Ho! Ho! Merry Christmas! Santa made a special trip to the Elementary today to visit with our students. The Grinch and his loyal dog, Max, joined him on his sleigh for the trip. As quickly as he arrived, Santa was off once again to prepare for the big day. 😊

You’re a mean one, Mr. Grinch!! The Elementary was “Grinched” last night. The Grinch and his friends were caught red handed, as they snuck in and out with Christmas trees and Whoville characters. 😊



Yay!!!! I placed 1st!!!! UIL Academics competition is well underway at Spurger ISD. Students have been excited all afternoon, as they looked forward to their events. They are working hard and have been very well behaved, as they always are. We are proud of them all. Thanks to Mrs. McGallion and everyone else who has helped today, as well as to the PTO for providing the Hospitality Room.😊
