
Cheerful...soar...witty...WOW!!! Mr. Horn’s 4th grade class created Wow Word posters. Students are learning multiple descriptive words to use in essays and passages. 😊



You are awesome! You can do it!! Students enjoyed the NED assembly today where they learned to have a positive mindset wherever they go. They were entertained with yo yo tricks and illusions, while they learned to achieve their potential, embrace challenges, persist in the face of setbacks, and take steps to grow useful skills. 😊





No matter what... the show must go on! Third grade students, along with Mrs. Jacobs and Mrs. Smith, traveled to the Lutcher Theater in Orange where they enjoyed a live theater performance of Showtime with Shakespeare. The play is based on the book in the Magic Tree House series. 😊



And the trophy goes to... 3rd grade!!!! They were last week’s attendance winners with 99.13%. Each week’s winning class will receive a prize and ownership of our Pirate Attendance trophy. 😊



Hi, I’m NED!! I’ll be at the Elementary on January 22 to take students on a journey to find their positive mindset. The show is filled with storytelling, humor, illusions, and yo-yo tricks where kids can learn the hidden message of my name. N- never give up, E- encourage others, and D- do your best. 😊

Congratulations to our Perfect Attendance winners for the first semester of school! Their names were drawn during our Christmas program today. There were three scooters awarded and one arcade game. Way to go kiddos and have fun!! 😊


Merry Christmas!! Students entertained their loved ones during the annual Christmas program today. It was a day filled with parties, gift exchanges, and memories. We are thankful for our students and visitors and wish you all a Merry Christmas. 😊





Santa, where are your reindeer? Have you read my letters? Santa and his friends greeted students, as they arrived in the car line today. Santa then made a special trip down the hall to visit with boys and girls. 😊





Santa came to visit Spurger ISD today.


Game on!!! Students who participated in our recent fundraiser were rewarded for their hard work today. They enjoyed a DJ Dance Party, followed with time in the Game Truck for top sellers. Way to go kiddos!😊





PreK sure knows how to have a sweet time! They decorated Christmas trees in class yesterday before they enjoyed their sweet treat. They were counting down the days until Christmas, so that meant 8 days left and eight ornaments on the tree. 😊




Nom! Nom! Nom! A Christmas Elf brought cookies, for the students in Mrs. Lieby and Mrs. Saulsbury’s Kindergarten classes, to decorate and enjoy. The elf also brought the book, Cookiesaurus Christmas. 😊





Kevin!!!!! Elementary wore their ugly sweaters today, while the staff participated in an ugly sweater contest. The grand prize winner was Mrs. Smith with her very creative Home Alone design.😊
