Spurger Elementary kicked off Red Ribbon Week today in the best way possible! Our students lined the sidewalks as the Tyler County Sheriff’s Office and local Fire Department rolled in with lights and sirens blazing. Each student received a badge and had the chance to explore the patrol cars and fire truck up close.
A huge thank you to our local heroes for making this such an exciting and memorable start to Red Ribbon Week! Together, we’re pledging to stay drug free and proud to be Pirates! 🏴☠️🚓🚒

Our Pre-K and Kindergarten students showed off their spooktacular creativity in this year’s Pumpkin Decorating Contest! Each pumpkin was uniquely decorated by our little artists, and staff and students had the tough job of voting for their favorites.
