SHS had a great Pink Out day! Our students went all out with the pink! They were loud and proud at the pep rally this morning with the Junior High and the Seniors being the loudest and winning a reward from Mrs. Robinson for their school spirit! What a great day to be a Pirate! Good luck to our Lady Pirates tonight as they take on the High Island Cardinals!

💰✨ Real-World Learning in Action! ✨💰

Our 4th grade students are learning the value of hard work and money management through our Classroom Economy system! 💼📚

Each day, students earn classroom cash for completing job duties, participating in class, turning in work on time, and showing great behavior. At the end of each 6-week period, they count their earnings and spend them at the Classroom Store! 🛍️💵

It’s a fun and practical way to teach responsibility, goal-setting, and financial literacy — all while building excitement for learning! 👏🎉

Our 5th graders are diving into the exciting world of forces and motion! 🚀 This week, they’re learning all about balanced vs. unbalanced forces — what keeps objects still, what makes them move, and how everyday forces like gravity and friction play a part.

With hands-on experiments and engaging discussions, students are discovering how science is all around us — and it's never been more fun!
